Indigo & Plant Dyeing

All participants will create a daily diary of experiments, that will form a Colour Reference Book.

Two days will be dedicated to INDIGO dyeing, incorporating several techniques previously learnt.

This year, students will get the opportunity to create their own KIMONO, using combinations of techniques and plant-dyes. A pattern, and choice of silk will be offered, as well as the sewing of the Kimono on completion of the workshop by my professional seamstress.

A sample pack with a variety of fabrics will be supplied to all students which covers materials of the workshop @ $50. Payable to the tutor on the first day.
