Awaken Your Creative Nature

We are all born with a unique creative nature. To re-awaken yours, join this 5 day journey of self- discovery and creativity.

At the end of the journey you will have created a beautiful mandala inspired by nature’s elements while developing a deeper awareness of your mind body connection. Each day we’ll delve deeper into experiencing each element using Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda. Each person will leave feeling rejuvenated and empowered with knowledge to enhance your health and wellbeing. Mandala means sacred circle which had deep spiritual significance. It is a symbol of the eternal, infinite universe which encompasses all. Mandalas have the power to heal us on a deep level and bring us back to our centre “It is the path to the centre, to individuation” Carl Jung book ‘Memoirs Dreams and Reflections’ By tapping into the ancient wisdom of Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda as well as our relationship to nature and the elements we will develop a deeper understanding of our true nature. As we explore the elements each day and use journaling as a way of self-reflection, we will start to create a Mandala as a group, and individually, which will be the outcome of the 5 day journey.

More about the course

The elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether are inherent in nature and within each individual and their influence affects us in many different ways. Referred to in Yoga as the ‘Tattwas’ also related to the Chakras and in Ayurveda as the ‘Doshas’ we will discover how each element manifests in our lives in the following areas:

  • At different times of the day
  • At different stages of life
  • Diet
  • Health
  • Weather
  • Moods
  • Work
  • Relationships

From this exploration and by keeping a journal, we will gain insight and inspiration into our creative nature and a deeper understanding of ourselves and our interactions with the world around us

Each day one element will be featured and explored in the Yoga and Meditation Class and the Ayurveda and Yoga principles relating to that element will be discussed further throughout the day. A Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) will be given every day, and a session on Pranayama (breathing practises).  Weather permitting, discussions will take place outside under trees or shade connecting on a deeper level with nature. The afternoon will be spent reflecting, writing in your journal and working on your Mandala.

Towards the end of the week each person will have developed a deeper perspective, awareness and understanding of themselves and will take home with them some personal Yoga and Ayurveda practises and lifestyle options to incorporate into their daily lives, using the tools of Yoga and Ayurveda to help balance and align the body on all levels.

Spending time in nature and tuning into the elements helps create an opportunity to discover and unlock a deeper understanding of ourselves and how we interact in the world around us.

By awakening our true nature the expression of innate creativity is able to blossom and grow.
