Sandra Finn

I have been teaching in Bellingen and surrounds for 35 years now and still hold classes in Bellingen and Coffs Harbour. My understanding of this medium has been fine-tuned from Art classes I attended when 19 years of age at Meadow Bank Technical college, Julian Ashton’s Royal Art Society all in Sydney. I put myself through art schools by studying past botanical recorders: Flemish/French, European /English/Australian

As well as colouring 13 and 14th century Japanese wood block prints at Brian Chester’s Antiquarian and studying historical Botanical colours at the Mitchell library in Sydney;

I worked in Commercial art as a graphic designer spaning over 40years

I am still learning as I believe one never stops

I look forward to you joining me in your first steps into Water colour
