Even if you've been playing uke for a while, this course is for you - Terry works with many levels of experience.

Many previous attendees have returned in following years to savour more of the week of fun and learning.

Student Feedback

2019 Camp Creative Survey

"I think Terry Stapleton's wonderful way of making it joyful and unintimidating is what makes it so special."

"Inclusive, fun and encouraging. Such a confidence-building course for beginners."

2018 Camp Creative Survey

"I was so excited to be playing a few chords and playing songs on the first day after having never played the ukulele before."

"Terry is great fun, so we created a sort of cheerful cooperative group. While the course is truly a course for beginners, some who had more skills also joined in to advantage. For me it was a chance to sing a lot of great old songs - I knew many more than I thought. And learn a few chords."

2017 Camp Creative Survey

"Terry is a VERY good teacher: seeks and is guided by feedback, is funny, is entertaining and is able to explain complex information easily and accessibly."

"Terry is wonderful!!!! Best teacher of anything that I have ever had. He knows how to pace the course so we are not stressed. He is completely knowledgeable. I am more than satisfied. Terry's class was a joyous experience."

"Terry was so proactive in teaching the fundamentals of the ukulele. And asking everyone in the class what would like to play. There was always a pleasure to attend his classes. A true professional. Looking forward to attending his class, again in 2018."
