In addition to the Camp Creative courses, special events are held across the week in various Camp Creative locations and venues.  All events are FREE except for the Opening Night function.


Opening Night  - Old Butter Factory This occasion includes the formal welcome to Gumbaynngir Country, entertainment, delicious buffet meal and a complimentary wine.  There are 200 tickets available and this must be booked when you make your course application. The cost is $35 per person and there are no refunds.


A night off to relax with friends at one of our many excellent Bellingen eateries. A full list of cafes/restaurants is included in the info booklet or check out the “I love Bello Shire” website.  


Celebrity Concert at the High School Hall with patron David Helfgott, Mark Walton and special guests. Family members are welcome to attend.


Relax at the half way point at Club Creative. Get a group together and try one of the many restaurants in town. Look out for specials from In the Rough bistro at Bellingen Golf Club and other eateries. The open mic night starts at 7pm at Bellingen Golf Club. There will more information at the camp about this night.


Party in the Park in the Maam Gaduying meeting area opposite the Memorial Hall for an evening of music, dance and song. A range of delicious food will be available for purchase.

FRIDAY 1-3pm

Display of campers' visual-art achievements. Feel free to wander around the rooms and see what others have created.

FRIDAY 2 - 3.30pm

Young People’s Concert at the High School Hall

Includes Simon Says Circus, Zap Academy,  Drama, Photography and Singing classes

Grand Finale Concert High School Hall
A spectacular conclusion to the camp, showcasing the achievements and the diversity of the performing arts groups from the camp. Due to space limitations the concert is restricted to Campers.

How many Blues Harmonica Courses do you need?

The answer now is two!. Rob stockton, Coordinator, Camp Creative, explained, “ We were confident that we would have a good response to our Blue Harmonica workshop with Ben Goodger but we didn’t expect it to fill in 3 days. We had a waiting list of disappointed people so we looked around for more tutors and were lucky to find Mike Bradberry”

Bellingen locals will remember when Mike was playing and teaching harmonica. He has just returned to Bellingen and is teaching harmonica again.

Don’t leave it too long if you want to enroll in this new course. It has only 7 places left.  Rob joked, “ there won’t be 3 harmonica  courses. Mikes course is on the Camp Creative website. He can also be seen on You tube under the intriguing nickname of “ Leather Lips”
