Camp Creative scholarships are an amazing opportunity for our young people to learn from industry experts, explore their passions in a nuturing environment and network with other like minded people.

Our scholarships are open to all young people living and studying within the Bellingen Shire.

We offer three scholarship types -

  • Merit

  • Equity

  • First Nations

Merit scholarships are awarded based on a students high artistic/physical abilities and creative talent.

Equity scholarships consider student's facing financial hardship, physical limitations, or other difficult circumstances.

First Nations scholarships are designed to support students who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander.

Scholarships will cover the total cost of the selected course fee. A choice of either covering up to $125 worth of any extra material costs or a daily Camp Creative canteen lunch voucher will be offered if needed as well.

All applications will be reviewed by our scholarship panel and as there are only a small number of scholarships available, this means that not all applications will be successful

Applications open August 11th and close October 6th, 2025. Successful applicants will be notified in writing by the end of October, 2025.

All applicants must commit to attending the full duration of the course.

And as courses are held at various venues around Bellingen student transport must be organised by the parent/carer.

HARRISON HIGHAM-ROSS

Harrison attended the Filmmaking for Kids course at Camp Creative 2025.

To Camp Creative,

My experience at Camp Creative was great, all the courses there were fantastic. Especially the film making course I attended, which helped me and many others learn how to edit and make great films. Which I believe is a great skill for the future of people who are interested in it. It also helped with communication skills and teamwork because you have to work and talk to your team which was just one of the many skills you can learn there. Overall it was a great course and I would definitely recommend it.
