AGE: Suitable for ages 10 to 17

SKILL LEVEL: Everyone - Suitable for a range of experience and skill. Tutors understand that there will be varying skill levels and will adapt to the needs and interests of all students.

  • As well as making your own projects, learn about being a community artist as you work as a team to create a colourful artwork for Bellingen town centre.

    As we use sharp tools, we ask everyone to work safely and sensibly and respect others. Safety instructions will be given.

    Every morning, we enjoy a healthy fruity morning tea.

  • Please wear clothes that can get messy

    This class has an extra materials cost of $25, which is payable directly to the tutor.

    Once you book your ticket, the tutor will be in touch to arrange payment.

    Cost of $25 includes:

    • A wide range of materials, new and reclaimed

    • All tiling adhesives and grout

  • No experience required.

YOUR COURSE TUTOR

Fi McAulay

Fi McAulay is a community artist, working in the genres of sculpture, drawing, painting and mosaics, with a focus on reusing, recycling and reclaiming materials. A former Industrial Arts teacher, she also runs community workshops for both children and adults to create public mosaic artwork installations. Her work is held in private and public collections and she regularly exhibits.

Her latest public work is the large MALAAMI sculpture at Thora, which pays homage to beautiful Gumbaynggirr Country and its Custodians.
