  • This course is all about having fun and learning the magic of watercolour. Watercolour has a chemistry that no other medium has.

    The aim is to get confident using it and enjoy the process.

  • Please bring the following on your first day of class:

    PAPER

    It is very important that the paper you use is of good quality. 100% Cotton.

    Brands recommended:

    • Masters Choice (Boahong) order via Seniors Art Supplies, a great paper at a good price. I use
      this a lot. 300gsm Rough or Cold Pressed. Comes in a good selection of sizes but for this course
      get ¼ size, 28 x 38cm

    • Arches this is the most expensive, really good but pricey. 300gsm, Rough or Cold Pressed.

    • Saunders. 300gsm Rough or Cold Pressed.

    • Fabriano. 300gsm, Rough or Cold Pressed.

    WATERCOLOUR PAINTS

    Once again get as best quality as you can afford,either in Pans or Tubes. I use Daniel Smith, Schimnke, Mamere Blue and Holbein. Cotmans or Art Spectrum are also ok.

Marion has been a practising artist for over twenty-five years, working in watercolour, acrylics and oils.

She is an experienced art teacher who loves passing on her knowledge and passion for art.

Her inspiration comes from the natural world, seen in the landscapes, wildlife and flora in her art.
