Welcome to Oh Shoot! Get to know your fellow photographers and tutor.
Find Your Spark: Explore what drives you to pick up a camera. Let's chat about the
stories you're itching to tell through your photos.
Afternoon Session:
Speak Up for Your Snaps: Learn how to communicate your ideas and connect with your subjects. Practice breaking the ice and making everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Capture Your Moment in Style: Dive into the world of visual storytelling. Experiment with different angles and perspectives to capture your unique view of the world.
Group Activity: Bellingen photo scavenger hunt (on foot)
DAY TWO - Creative Expression and ConfidenceMorning Session:
Empower Your Creative Side: Unleash your imagination! Discover how to use
composition and colour to express your unique style.Communicate with Confidence: Build your confidence behind the lens. Practice asking

Group Project: Collaborate on a photography project that celebrates diversity and

DAY FOUR - Protecting Your MasterpiecesMorning Session:
Keep Your Creations Safe: Understand the importance of preserving your digital
memories. Learn simple strategies to back up and organize your photos like a pro.Interactive Session: Let's dive into the world of photo editing apps! Discover easy-to-use
tools to enhance your photos and bring your vision to life.
Activity: Bellingen Skatepark and walk through town (by foot)
Party in the Park (from 5pm)
Afternoon Session:
Hands-on Activity: Bring your favourite photos to life with DIY framing techniques. Learn how to present your work like a pro with simple materials.
Showcase Your Work: Prepare your best photos for a gallery-style exhibition at the
Children’s showcase at Stockton Hall. Share your journey and celebrate your
accomplishments with friends and family.
Activity: Frame those photos!
DAY FIVE - Celebration and Reflection
Morning Session:
Reflection and Next Steps: Take a moment to reflect on your experience at Oh Shoot!Share your biggest takeaways and discuss your goals for future photography projects.
Group Photo: Capture a final group photo together to celebrate our time together at Camp Creative.
Afternoon Session:

YOUR COURSE TUTOR
James Lander
James is known for his unique and recognisable visual style, he is passionate about capturing beauty in the everyday, whether that be vivid and colourful seascapes, or those little moments that otherwise go unnoticed.
A true collaborator, James also has a passion for capturing live music and has been invited to shoot a bunch of incredible events and festivals, notably Bellingen’s own Riversounds Music Festival, Storyland, the Big Bonanza, the inaugural Macksville Laneway Festival and Coffs Coast Food and Wine Festival to name a few.
Not to mention numerous individual gigs, where he has recently shot the likes of Baker Boy, ChillinIt, DMA's, the Beddy Rays and Dune Rats. James has also shot for local initiatives, The Valley Hub and the Becoming U project and is currently working with the Bongil Bongil Youth Collective.
